When Claire asked me to photograph her wedding I was truly honoured, for one I had known her family from my childhood and it was so nice that we were back in touch again via Twitter. I also knew she was going to be a stunning bride – I think you’ll agree – she looked incredible! Not only that – she is extremely talented, the attention to detail at the marquee reception was all down to Claire and her design and artistic skills. Most of the marquee details were handmade by Claire – they really added a fun element as Claire and Jon’s sense of humour shone through! You can read more about their story here from their engagement shoot, but I love the fact that Jon and Claire met via Twitter after a bit of banter while Jon was posing as a fake Andrew Strauss (the English cricket captain!!) – hence the cricket theme! I will let the photographs tell the story now, but particularly I love the speeches – Claire’s dad had us all shedding a tear, and I do love the photo booth ones at the end! I think it was clear what a fantastic day was had by all and I really do wish this lovely couple all the very best wishes and happiness for their future. It was a privilege to be involved in the day.

[...] I’ve just delivered this fantastic ‘Folio’ album to one of my 2012 wedding couples, Claire and Jon. It is gorgeous, I love the colour of the ‘Ivory’ cover, it suits their wedding perfectly. Infact, I can’t help feeling very envious of them having such an amazing keepsake from their wedding. I know they are also delighted – to see more images from their wedding click here [...]
