Matt Maurice Event Music at Fetcham Park

Faced with the prospect of photographing several very talented DJ’s in one afternoon, I have to say that I did feel a tad daunted. But once I met the guys from Matt Maurice Event Music I relaxed straight away. Such a lovely bunch – and they obviously all enjoyed getting together too! We did have a laugh doing our ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ style shot, masterminded by the lovely Lotte Travers, who has the pleasure of keeping these handsome men in order! I was trying to get them to find their inner George Clooney and I think they pulled it off – don’t you?!

So aside from the portraits that the team wanted for website and marketing use, I also took some pictures of MMEM’s dancefloor and lighting set up alongside Shaken and Stirred’s bar at the stunning Fetcham Park. Any of you that know Fetcham Park (you can see some more pictures here) know that it really is a magnificent wedding venue but even I’d never seen it looking quite this cool!

Well, this setup in the entrance hall complemented the dramatic frescos and architectural detail perfectly. The combination of the atmospheric lighting, white accessories (including some white leather Chesterfield sofa’s that wouldn’t look out of place in a sleek London club!) Shaken & Stirred’s bar (that can be customised to your own colour/design specifications) along with magnificent floral displays from Jay Archer Floral Designs really set it all off.

Who’d have thought that Jay Archer, Matt Maurice Event Music and Shaken & Stirred could turn an 18th century house into a sleek bar and club in a couple of hours?! These guys really are the best at what they do.

The team behind the decor meant that you really did feel like you had stepped into a very swanky private members’ club so whether you’re planning a party or celebrating a wedding, these guys really are the dream team!
